Sigma Engineered Solutions Weatherproof Electrical Cover, White
Sigma's one-gang slimline in-use receptacle covers allow users to access outlets while the cover is closed. These low-profile, non-metallic covers are designed to complement one-gang weatherproof boxes and can be configured to work with GFCI and duplex devices. They prevent moisture from penetrating the receptacles while in use, and the cover is lockable to restrict unwanted access.
The covers come with hardware and a gasket, and they are only 1-9/16-inch deep, with a vertical cord exit that allows the cover to close without bending the cord. This makes them adaptable for horizontal 15-Amp GFCI and duplex receptacles, with a plug that can be oriented to fit your specific receptacle.
The non-metallic construction of these covers provides weather and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for wet locations. The product is cULus listed and NEMA 3R rated, and it meets the NEC's 2014 "Extra Duty" requirement.
